The Brother DCP-J572DW is an A4 copier, printer, and scanner that produces black and white as well as coloured documents. It allows home users and small office users to enjoy high quality results on a consistent basis. It also offers the option of wireless printing to make it accessible from any point in your home or office, which makes it a perfect choice for homework assignments. It’s very easy to use this printer, and it can be controlled using buttons located on the front part of the printer or through its software if you want to control it from your computer.
Design
The printer measures 400 x 341 x 151mm and weighs 7.2kg. It is compatible with a variety of Windows operating systems and connects via USB. It is equipped with a 4.5cm LCD display and is capable of printing double sided on A4. The maximum printing resolution is 1200 x 2400 dpi, while the maximum scanning resolution is also 1200 x 2400 dpi.
Advantages
It has an SD card slot, meaning photos and documents can be printed directly from memory cards. You can also print directly from iPads and iPhones without extra software. For Android, tablets and smart phones, a simple app can be installed to allow printing. Cartridges are very easy to install, and you don't have to lift the printer’s top up. The copier and scanner functions work perfectly with a very slight and insignificant drop in quality from the original document.
Disadvantages
This printer does not have an Ethernet port. It's also somewhat bulky and may occupy a large space. Admittedly, the cost per print is quite high, and this can make it expensive to maintain.
