This is an affordable multifunction machine that is capable of good quality colour printing and copying, with fax and scanning on the side. The Brother MFC-250C is a space-saver because of its compact size, and it is easy to use with straightforward and clearly labelled functions, but the speed is a disappointment.
Design
The Brother MFC-250C is a colour inkjet printer with a breadbox-type frame that measures 15.4 inches wide, 5.9 inches tall, and 14.4 inches deep, so it can easily fit on any home or office desktop. It weighs 7.12Kg, with a maximum printing size of 8.5x14 inches, which can handle legal-sized sheets. The output bin can handle up to 50 sheets, while the input tray can handle 100 sheets. The standard interfaces are PictBridge, a USB host, and USB 2.0. The operator panel is simplified with clearly labelled functions, an alphanumeric keypad, navigational keys, one-touch operational buttons, and a monochrome display screen.
Advantages
PhotoCapture allows for direct printing from a USB flash drive or a PictBridge-compatible digital camera. Borderless printing is supported on a wide variety of paper types. Users may scan directly to a USB flash memory, too. The high 6000x1200dpi resolution of the Brother MFC-250C ensures sharp documents and clearer graphics.
