The device is one of the fastest units in Brother's Business Smart series, spitting out as many as 35 pages per minute. Built for high-resolution printing, the Brother MFC-J4710DW also boasts high print resolutions up to 600x1200 dpi. Scans, faxes, and copies also turn up fast, without compromising quality. However, input capacity is still an issue, limiting the unit's productivity.
Design
The Brother MFC-J4710DW still keeps a small footprint, even with all its extra features. It includes a high-speed fax modem, rated at 33.6 Kbps, along with a flatbed scanner with a 2400x2400 dpi resolution. The unit adds built-in media card slots and an automatic document feeder, which makes it easier to process multi-page documents.
