The Brother MFC-J5625DW wireless all-in-one A3 inkjet printer with fax is a suitable replacement for Brother's popular 5910 printer because of its impressive printing speed and vivid image quality. One of the most unique Brother MFC-J5625DW wireless inkjet printer features is the ability to print sideways onto A3 documents, but other reasons to consider the Brother MFC-J5625DW colour multifunction printer include its fax and scan capabilities.

Design

As the smallest inkjet printer ever with A3 printing capabilities, the Brother MFC-J5625DW 4-in-1 printer weighs in at just 9.3kg and boasts a compact 480 x 290 x 186mm footprint suitable for any home or office short on space. The 20-sheet ADF positioned on top of the Brother MFC-J5625DW laser printer lies completely flat after users fold down the input tray. The maximum standard paper tray capacity is 150 sheets, but operates in landscape mode instead of portrait mode.

Advantages

Sideways printing ability on A3 documents is one of the main Brother MFC-J5625DW all-in-one colour inkjet printer advantages thanks to a single-sheet bypass tray positioned at the back of this versatile device. Copying, printing, scanning and fax mode are all possible with the MFC-J5625DW all-in-one. SD, MemoryStick, PictBridge, and flash memory card slots are all discreetly hidden behind the control panel, which is simple to navigate with help from a brightly lit colour LCD touchscreen. A4 document printing speeds range from 20ppm for draft quality documents to 11ppm for normal quality documents to 7ppm for duplex versions. Connectivity options include cable-free printing or an Ethernet port for secure wired connections. An extra high capacity black Brother MFC-J5625DW ink cartridge is available to print up to 2,400 pages and reduce the cost-per-page.

Disadvantages

The Brother MFCJ5625DW printer noise level increases quite a bit when documents are printed in landscape mode, and users need to juggle sheets in and tug sheets out of the small bypass tray. A reddish bias can appear on A4 photo paper, while considerable banding issues are a concern when plain paper images are expanded to A3 size.
