Canon Fax B155 Printer Review

Expert review of the Canon Fax B155 printer

Our Verdict:
star
star-filled

The Canon Fax B155 is a multifunction printer ideal for personal offices or small workspaces. It is capable of delivering good quality monochrome prints, copies, and faxes. The Canon Fax B155 plain paper fax also comes with a handset, unlike comparable competing models from other manufacturers.

Design

This compact fax printer has a handset on the left side and a control panel in the middle. The Canon B155 bubble jet fax comes with a numeric keypad, function buttons, and a monochrome LCD display. For connectivity, a parallel port is available. The Canon Fax-B155 printer can handle 100 sheets at a time and it also comes with an automatic document feeder. This unit weighs 12.6 lbs and measures 17.5 x 12.1 x 13.3 inches. Maximum print resolution is 360 x 360 dpi and print speed is 2 ppm

Advantages

The Canon Fax B155 is compact and easy to use. The B155 fax machine is also offered at an affordable price. This 5-in-1 unit delivers good quality output, from scans and faxes to prints and copies. The Canon B155 faxphone also works as a telephone with 20 coded-speed dialling and 10 one-touch speed dialling. Black Canon Fax B155 cartridges cost relatively little for this machine which keeps the operating costs to a minimum.

Disadvantages

The Canon Fax B-155 inkjet printer is a bit outdated; it only offers a parallel port for connectivity and is often criticised for slow job speeds. The Fax B155 printer can only handle a limited type of media and uses CIS instead of a flatbed scanner.
