A sleek, stylish and compact machine that combines a high level of functionality with a minimal office footprint, this Canon Pixma G3500 is a tabletop design capable of decent resolution outputs at acceptable speeds. The low-media input capabilities make it better suited to smaller print runs, as manual stocking will be required fairly regularly. However, the high-yield ink inputs mean that the machine is an economical choice for those looking to keep print budgets in check.
Design
The Canon Pixma G3500’s design is relatively compact, styled in black plastic with curved lines for a modern, sleek finish. The Canon Pixma G3500 weighs in at 5.8 kilograms and measures 445 millimetres wide by 330 millimetres deep by 163 millimetres high. The machine features a front-load paper tray and a pullout output shelf, which can be folded away to minimise the machine’s footprint when not in use. The design features a 2.5-inch digital display.
Advantages
This Canon Pixma G3500, copier and scanner combo can create outputs in both monochrome (black and white) and colour. The printer has a maximum print resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi in monochrome and 4,800 x 1,200 dpi in colour. It is capable of achieving print speeds of up to 8.8 impressions per minute in monochrome and five impressions per minute in colour and has an automatic duplex feature for double-sided print jobs. The ink input is individual high-yield tanks, which are great for high-yield printing at economical rates. The copier can enlarge up to 400% and can reduce to 25% and features automatic exposure control. Wi-Fi connection capabilities as well as integration with the Pixma app make access to printing truly flexible, allowing wireless printing on site and remote printing via the app.
