What ink does the Canon Pixma MG2400 use?

Expert review of the Canon Pixma MG2400 printer
The Canon Pixma MG2400 is a printer that is suitable for use at home as it can carry out many of the tasks that would be required of a student or self-employed worker, namely, printing, scanning and copying. The fairly compact size makes it possible to set it up in a convenient location alongside a PC for wired connectivity, though it also has a wireless option.
Design
The efficient size of the Canon Pixma MG2400 does not take away from its ability, which includes a print resolution of 4800 dpi and high print speeds of eight images per minute in mono and four in colour. It can accommodate four individual cartridges including black and uses XL FINE ink which is effective at printing a higher volume of pages than other cartridges. Though they do not need to be changed often, the style of the printer makes it easy to replace them when they do.
Advantages
With the Canon MG240, there is a USB port to connect to a device to print on a wired basis. However, it is also possible to print directly from the internet using the Auto Clip option, which allows for images from different pages to be clipped and collated to be saved within a PDF. The My Image Garden software can be used to enhance photos, ensuring they are looking their best before they are printed. An automated power off and power on facility makes the Canon Pixma MG2400 an energy saving option.
Disadvantages
The Canon Pixma MG-2400 has a flatbed scanner that does not comprise a document feeder, so it is necessary to lift the lid and use it manually for every page. This can be time-consuming and even a little daunting for the user.
