The Canon Pixma MG2900 is the right type of printer for the technologically savvy user that requires a single piece of equipment to carry out a number of different functions, whether simply for domestic use or for use in a small office. In addition to printing, the Canon Pixma MG-2900 also allows for scanning and copying with the same level of quality that you could expect from the print results. Printing from a number of different online services is possible due to the Wi-Fi connectivity that is available.

Design

In order to be suitable for use in the home, the Canon Pixma MG2900 has been constructed to a size to make it convenient for small spaces. The well-placed control panel ensures that it is not difficult to access, and makes it easy to operate. It can be linked up wirelessly to print from various devices and online services.

Advantages

The Canon MG2900 is a great all-round printer as it is a single piece of equipment that can be used for a number of everyday processes. The flatbed top of the printer allows for scanning and copying, and printed pages are released below where the pages will lie until they are collected. The machine is capable of automatically switching on as soon as printing is started. Precise printing can be achieved via the micro ink droplets.

Disadvantages

Some may find the Canon MG2900 driver difficult to install on laptops and tablets in order to get the software working correctly. Creative techniques can be utilised via the Canon app, but this takes some getting used to and takes a bit of trial and error before it can be described as easy to use.
