Integrated with essential features for high quality graphics and ease in connectivity, the Canon Pixma MP620 is ideal for photography enthusiasts looking for an inexpensive multifunction printer, but is also suitable for small office use. While it is supposed to be an improved version of a predecessor, the Pixma MP620 is more sluggish and lacks some features that help increase productivity.
Design
The Canon Pixma MP620 is a compact box-type machine with an expandable output tray and a large LCD cover (the display itself is quite small, however, at 2.5 inches). The printer is heavier than previous models, being 18 lbs and 6.9 inches tall. A colour flatbed scanner and copier are integrated, along with a built-in card reader, 2 paper trays, and Wi-Fi adapter. The Canon Pixma MP620 also supports USB 2.0, Ethernet, PictBridge, and Bluetooth v2.0.
Advantages
Superb connectivity options (including both wireless and wired network support) make this a very flexible printer compatible with PC, Mac, Digital Cameras, tablet PCs, and smart phones. A card reader is integrated on the printer's body, so you can directly print from supported xD-Picture Cards, Memory Sticks, and SD Memory Cards. There are 2 paper trays — one for photo paper and the other for regular paper. The copier can be used as a stand-alone device.
