The Canon Pixma MX360 uses Canon 2969B001AA ink cartridges. Canon 2969B001AA ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 401 pages.
The Canon Pixma MX360 is an inkjet colour printer that incorporates a scanner, fax machine and copier. It has a low price tag, and the print quality is good but slow, resulting in glossy and vibrant photographs and clear text. It is best suited to a home or small business that has a low budget but still needs to print good-quality documents and images. Other than the slow printing speeds, the main drawback is that the printer is noisy when in operation, which can be disruptive even in Quiet Mode.
The grey design of the Canon MX360 will fit in unobtrusively with most home or office colour schemes. The dimensions are 458mm x 415mm x 198mm. On top of the machine is the scanner, with a rear-mounted feeder tray holding up to 100 sheets. The output tray folds out from the front of the printer. The printer is navigated using the control panel on the front, which includes an LCD screen. Printing speed is 8.4ppm in mono and 4.8ppm in colour. Resolution is 4800 x 1200 dpi. Connection is via a USB interface.
The Canon Pixma MX360 is economical to purchase and produces good-quality photos with vibrant colours and clear, smudge-free documents. Setup and maintenance are straightforward. The machine incorporates a fax, copier and scanner. The Quick Start feature means that the printer can be operating just seconds after it is turned on. It is able to print in duplex, but this needs to be arranged manually.
With noisy operations, the Canon MX-360 can be disruptive, and document printing speed is slow. With just one paper tray, swapping between sizes will result in a disruption of the printing operation. The LCD screen is fairly small and has a low resolution, which even in good light is difficult to read.
