The Canon Pixma TS3151 is a printer, scanner and copier in one that comprises a flatbed scanner to accommodate the documents and images to be copied and scanned. It has digital capabilities as it is possible to connect via Wi-Fi in addition to its USB port. This enables the device to provide more options for printing documents and photos. Both easy to set up and easy to use, the Canon TS3151 is a good choice for getting work done without paying an extortionate amount.

Design

The Canon Pixma TS3151 is designed for use within the home and is sized to allow it to fit comfortably amongst other office equipment. The lid and document feeder can be raised when necessary and the controls are situated on the top of the casing for easy access. It takes two FINE cartridges. Each cartridge helps to create a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi.

Advantages

The features of the Canon Pixma TS-3151 make it suitable for a home office and saves energy with its ability to automatically go on standby. It has an automatic feed from a paper cassette and it can handle a number of different paper types including envelopes and photos. Photos can be printed without a border. Adjustments on the Canon Pixma TS3151 can be made to photographs with the My Image Garden software and it supports a number of apps for easy wireless printing.

Disadvantages

The print speed of the Canon Pixma TS3151 can be a considered a little slow for a busy work place, but should not present a problem for use at home. The connection options are limited to Wi-Fi and USB. There is some additional software that will need to be downloaded, if needed.
