The Canon Pixma TS8051 is substantially more than just a regular printer. This is a highly versatile and fully connected, all-in-one piece of kit that the user can use to scan and copy photos and documents, creating crystal-clear clear, lab-quality photos. The machine uses a large touch screen, which makes operation of all the functions very simple and intuitive, with selection icons enabling printing and uploading to social media quick and easy. With both cloud and remote mobile printing possible, documents are able to be scanned and uploaded at the touch of a button, making best use of Google Drive and other popular cloud services.

Design

With the compact dimensions of 14.6x12.7x5.4 inches and a weight of 6.5kg, the Canon TS8051 can be carried manually and fitted snugly into just about any spare office space. The print resolution is 9600x2400 dpi, with a 15 ipm print speed for mono and 10 ipm for colour output. The six separate ink cartridges mean that only those colours that have run out require replacing. The scanner offers an impressive 2400x4800 dpi resolution, and the 14 seconds scan speed is suitable for most small office purposes.

Advantages

The clear text reproduction and exceptional photo resolution of the Canon Pixma TS8051 make scanning, copying and printing effective and professional. The compact body and ease of control via the large LCD offer an affordable and efficient printing solution for the home office, and with the Canon 'Print' app downloaded, the unit can be controlled from any remote location. Replace ink tanks only when you need to, individually rather than en masse, and upload scanned and copied images and documents directly to the web, at the touch of a few buttons.

Disadvantages

The LCD may be a trifle large for some tastes, and the noise made by the printer a little intrusive in particularly quiet environments, such as reception areas.
