The Canon Pixma iP7200 uses Canon CLI-551C ink cartridges. Canon CLI-551C ink comes in cyan; the cyan cartridge prints 304 pages.
The Canon Pixma iP7200 is a Wi-Fi capable photo printer that works with five individual ink colours that can print directly from a smartphone. The printer is capable of fast printing and is ideal for both light business or personal printing. Through the Canon PRINT app, the printer can be accessed remotely from nearby locations. The device has a stylish low profile that looks nice in any setting.
The Canon Pixma iP7200’s low-profile design includes two paper trays that are fully integrated. The design allows different media types to be used with the printer, and the double paper cassettes enable users to load different types of paper at the same time including standard paper, photo paper, and transparencies. The Auto Power feature will help to save energy so this printer is a little more environmentally friendly than some other models.
The Canon iP7200 has the direct disc print feature that allows printing directly on coated CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays. The device also provides auto-duplexing to save paper through double-sided printing. The small size is ideal for small offices and home use, and can print up to 15 pages per minute in mono and ten pages per minute in colour. In only 21 seconds the Canon Pixma iP7200 can produce a good-quality photo print of 10 x 15cm. This device is capable of printing resolutions up to 9600 dpi, providing excellent-quality prints.
The Canon Pixma iP7200 has very few disadvantages, although the small size of the printer may mean it is unsuitable for use in some busy offices where high volumes of printing are required. Duplex printing is quite slow at approximately four sides per minute and A4 is the largest paper that the printer can handle, but this is fine in most homes and workplaces. The Canon iP7200 is noisy when feeding paper, at 66 dB.
