The Epson EcoTank ET-2700 is a multi-functional inkjet printer that can also scan and copy documents. This device is particularly suited to those who want to print photographs. It is set up to provide high-quality images with a resolution of 1200 dpi. It can print in both monochrome and colour and produces documents at a high rate of speed. However, the Epson EcoTank ET-2700 does use ink tanks rather than cartridges, which is an issue for those people who prefer to replace rather than refill.

Design

The Epson EcoTank is a sturdy machine weighing 5 kg that has dimensions of 34.7 x 37.5 x 18.7 cm. It uses a continuous ink supply system (CISS) that requires the incorporated tanks to be filled with ink, which reduces the running cost as there is no need to buy cartridges. The flatbed scanner is complemented by a document feeder to speed up the process of scanning documents.

Advantages
