The Epson EcoTank L800 is a high-capacity photo printer with integrated ink tanks, ideal for helping organisations of all sizes cut printing costs. It is equipped with Epson’s Micro Piezo printhead technology that delivers durability, reliability and quality, allowing more efficient colour blending and minimal ink usage. It can print 37 pages per minute in monochrome (plain paper, 75 g/m² weight) and 38 pages per minute in colour (plain paper, 75 g/m² weight).
The EcoTank L800 measures 537mm x 289mm x 188mm (width x depth x height) and weighs 6.2kg. Its noise level is 39 dB(A) with Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper in Photo RPM mode. The power, low ink and paper jam warning buttons each have their own in-built LED lights, and the removable paper tray can be replaced with a CD/DVD tray to print directly onto them.
The L800 enables users to print long-lasting, life-like, vibrant colours, producing borderless photos up to A4 size. It is also easy to create personalised digital photo albums by printing them directly onto CDs and DVDs. The fast print speeds mean that a 10cm x 15cm photo will print in only 12 seconds. Also, the printer comes with the Epson Creativity Suite software disc for photo editing, so users can edit images, add photo effects and enhancement, and remove red-eye before printing.
The Epson EcoTank L800 is designed specifically for photo printing and connectivity is provided via a USB cable. There are no ethernet or Wi-Fi capabilities or scan and flash drive options. Therefore, this printer is not suitable for an organisation that has more varied printing requirements.
