The Epson PictureMate 290 is one of the most convenient photo printers available. Aside from offering memory card readers and a PictBridge port, this unit also comes with a CD burner. Bluetooth is optional. Photo prints have lab-like quality, and the Epson PictureMate Zoom compact photo printer – PM290 can deliver prints at an impressively quick speed. It features a large colour LCD display for easy photo editing and selecting. There is still room for a few improvements, though. The Epson PictureMate PM 290 printer bundle does not have a standard battery pack, for example.
Design
This good-looking printer weighs 6.6 lbs and only measures 9.1 x 6.5 x 9.9, making it easy for storage. The Epson PictureMate 290 personal photo printer can handle 20 photo paper sheets and has a print speed of 37 seconds for 4 x 6 inch media. The Epson PictureMate 290 has a CD burner on the base. The vertical input tray acts as the cover for the function buttons and display.
Advantages
The Epson PictureMate 290 compact photo printer is affordable, and running costs are reasonable, too.
