A 4-colour photo printing inkjet from Epson, the Epson Stylus Photo R245 boasts a printing resolution of up to 5760x1440 dpi. It can produce text and photo outputs in fast average speeds, and offers USB 2.0 and 1.1 connectivity. The device supports borderless printing and can be used with Mac and Windows. The Epson Stylus Photo R245 inkjet printer, however, can be quite loud to operate, and does not offer memory card support, like most other photo centric printers.
Design
The Epson Stylus R245 photo printer closely resembles its predecessors, R240 and R200. It has an intuitive control panel for selecting printer options and media sizes. It uses 4 inks, and can handle as many as 100 sheets of paper, although it can only print on media as large as A4 paper. The Epson Stylus Photo R245 measures 436x268x172 mm, and weighs approximately 5 kg.
