The Epson Stylus SX235W uses Epson C13T12814010 ink cartridges. Epson C13T12814010 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 190 pages.
Are you looking for a low-cost printer? Then look no further than the Epson Stylus SX235W! This budget printer is excellent value for money. With built-in WiFi, print speeds of up to 30ppm and a built in scanner/copier - you can't go wrong with the SX235W.
The Stylus SX235W is Epson's smallest all-in-one. Despite it measuring just 390x300x145mm – the printer still manages to hold 100 sheets. Unfortunately, unlike some of its predecessors the SX235W lacks an LCD screen, however its navigational buttons on the printer make it extremely easy to use.
Despite its small price tag, the Epson Stylus SX235W has a great spec. It offers print speeds of 30ppm, and doesn't comprise on quality producing high-res text and graphic documents. Connectivity is another area in which the all-in-one device excels. Not only does this printer have a USB 2.0 port and Ethernet port, it can also print, scan and send through wireless networks. You can even print directly from your smartphone or tablet! The Epson Stylus SX235W can also save you money thanks to Epson's clever 4 ink cartridge system.
Despite quick printing speeds for mono, the Epson Stylus SX235W struggled with colour graphics taking over a minute to print just 5 pages! This isn't ideal – especially if you plan on printing photographs or graphic-rich documents. The flatbed scanner was equally as disappointing – reproductions appeared faded and lacked any clarity. All in all, the Epson Stylus SX235W is fine as a plain document printer, but if you're looking to print or scan photos then consider spending slightly more and upgrading to a more powerful printer.
