Design
The unassuming black tabletop design belies the impressive print capabilities of this little gem of the print world. Styled with curved corners, a push-button input and LCD display, the Epson SureColor SC-P5000 STD weighs in at a not-negligible 52 kg, while the measurements of the printer are 863 millimetres wide by 766 millimetres deep by 406 millimetres high. Designed with usage and maintenance in mind, the Epson P5000 STD features covers and seals that have been engineered to reduce the ingress of dust into the system.
Advantages
The Epson SC-P5000 STD is available with either a Violet or LLK inset, and with the former, its 12-ink input is capable of matching as much as 99% of the Pantone spectrum. It is perfect for the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, leaflets and flyers, where it is important that corporate colours remain true and identifiable. The machine is also capable of being used for fine art and photography purposes, recreating prints and paintings with an accuracy of up to 98%. The Epson SC-P5000 STD is capable of producing resolutions up to 2,880 x 1,440 dots per inch (dpi), which are achieved using the 3.5-pl droplet size and latest ink innovations.
