The WF-C8690DTWFC Epson WorkForce Pro A3 business inkjet MFD is ideal for small to medium workgroups and has a fast first page out time (FPOT) of 5.5 seconds. It can print up to 11,500 pages in monochrome and 8,000 in colour without the need to change supplies due to its large ink cartridges. It is possible to print on a range of media including labels, recycled paper, glossy media and envelopes. The range of software and tools provide efficient scanning and secure printing. With NFC and wireless connectivity, printing is supported from mobile devices and is easy to manage remotely. The smartphone-inspired touchscreen and user interface ensure it is also easy to operate. As well as this, Epson Open Platform and collaboration with ISVs add more solutions such as the print management software PaperCut.

This Epson WorkForce Pro series model has a printing speed of 24 pages per minute for monochrome and colour and a duplex printing speed of 16 A4 pages per minute in both colour and monochrome according to ISO/IEC 24734, as well as a printing resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The noise level is 6.8B(A) according to ISO 7779 pattern.
