The Epson WorkForce WF-7720DTWF is a colour multi-function inkjet printer able to print A3 size. The unit incorporates a printer, scanner, copier and fax machine. Although it is not the smallest of printers, it is a versatile machine and is likely to be the only printer needed in a small or home office. Paper capacity is generous and makes it easy to switch between different paper sizes, while wireless connectivity makes it possible to print from multiple devices, including smart devices. Setup and operation is straightforward, thanks to the intuitive touch screen. With print quality of a high standard, it is likely to be a useful addition to any workplace wanting to bring A3 printing in-house.

Design

With print speeds of 20 ppm for colour prints and 32 ppm for monochrome, the Epson WorkForce 7720DTWF is an efficient machine with a resolution of 4000 x 2400 dpi. Paper is stored in two trays, each one able to hold up to 250 sheets. On the front of the black case is a control panel including a 10.9 cm LCD touch screen. Connection is achieved from a USB or network interface or wirelessly, including from smart devices. The monthly duty cycle is 20,000 pages. The dimensions of this device are 567 x 486 x 418 mm.

Advantages

The paper trays of the Epson WorkForce WF-7720DTWF can take different sized paper, increasing the versatility of this machine. A variety of connection modes allows printing from both in and out of the office. High yield ink cartridges and automatic duplex printing reduces waste and saves money. PrecisionCore printhead technology ensures prints reach a high standard.

Disadvantages

The rear bypass tray of the Epson WF-7720DTWF is a useful feature, but it can only handle one sheet at the time, so is not suitable for remote printing.
