The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-8090 DTWC is a high-performance printer designed for use in small to medium offices. It is ideal for companies that are currently using a laser printer but want to cut their costs without compromising on performance. A standalone unit, it is finished in a soft white shade and has a 5.6cm touchscreen from which staff can access its full range of functions. There is a rear media feed, and the duplex function is automatic, to increase productivity in a busy workplace.
Design
Developed to cut costs while still delivering an optimal output, the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-8090 DTWC can produce up to 65,000 pages in its monthly print cycle. The quality reaches a level of 4800 x 1200 dpi. The cartridges are designed for speedy changeovers, and the print speed for both colour and mono copies is 34 pages per minute. Its dimensions are 567w x 575d x 1048h mm, and the weight is 57.2kg. Whether a user is printing on A3 or A4, duplexing is automatic and the paper trays have a combined load of 1,831 sheets, so print runs are rarely interrupted.
Advantages
Whether the application is industrial or commercial, this printer will make a useful addition as it can achieve such high speeds. With wireless and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity, members of staff will find it easy to organise a print job from their phone or tablet if this is more convenient.
