The Epson Expression Home XP-212 is an excellent all-in-one home printer that includes a printer, scanner, and copier in one compact device. It has the flexibility of an office printer at the value of a typical household printer. The Epson XP-212 Small-in-One printer uses individual inks, which makes it an even more cost-effective choice. It is a Wi-Fi-ready device, ideal for PC-free printing, although it doesn't support network connectivity and fax functions.
Design
The Epson XP-212 is a specialised personal printer that offers three machines in one compact unit. It prints, scans, and copies at decent speeds and it can print photos and documents over Wi-Fi from tablet PCs and Smartphones. The Epson Expression Home XP-212 colour multifunction printer uses individual ink cartridges so users only have to replace depleted colours. XL size inks allow for better cost management and the Epson XP212 print cartridges are very easy to install.
Advantages
Size is one of the best advantages of the Epson XP-212 Wi-Fi 4-in1 with ADF. It measures only about 390x300x145 mm, and it has a 50-sheet standard tray capacity, which can also hold up to 10 photo sheets. The Expression Home XP212 multifunction printer allows manual duplex printing, and it has flexible connective interfaces, including USB and Wi-Fi. It uses Epson's Claria Home Ink technology, and it affords high print resolutions up to 5760x1440 dpi.
Disadvantages
The Epson XP-212 Expression Home colour printer is an excellent addition to homes and even small home offices. However, the XP-212 all-in-one printer lacks the flexibility of more powerful and higher capacity all-in-one units. It prints rather slowly at 26 pages per minute in monochrome and 13 pages per minute in colour. Photos come out at a rate of 54 seconds per 10x15 cm photo.
