The Epson XP-247 is a home-suitable scanner, printer and copier combined into a single stylish unit that will grace any modern home office environment and provide adequate functionality for the small- to medium-scale user. The use of individual ink cartridges avoids having to replace all inks when only one of them runs out, thereby cutting costs. Epson Connect is used from any smart device to enable printing while out and about, and the results are clear and crisp, with lab-quality photo handling.
Design
The Epson XP247 weighs in at a mere 3.9kg and has dimensions of 15.3x11.8x5.7 inches, making it easy to move around the home or office. Along with the unit are bundled ink cartridges, a power cable and Epson Easy Print software. The 5760x1440 dpi print resolution creates crisp, clear copies and the print speed of 27 pages monochrome, or 15 pages of colour prints, is suitable for most home and small office needs. The flatbed scanner operates through a contact image sensor, and the single paper tray takes the duplex pages. Paper feeding is manual, and envelopes may be fed in, as well as a range of paper types and sizes, including the standard A4 to B5.
