The Epson XP-412 uses Epson 18 ink cartridges. Epson 18 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 175 pages.
The Epson XP-412 all-in-one inkjet printer comes with a larger LCD screen for better print previewing. This printer, scanner, and copier is built for everyday home use, ideal for small home offices in need of a compact all-in-one that prints fast and offers high resolutions. The Epson Expression Home XP-412 Small-in-One printer also supports wireless printing through Wi-Fi Direct and it has a USB interface for direct PC connectivity. However, the XP-412 printer lacks fax functions and it can only do manual duplexing.
Built for desktop use, the Epson XP-412 printer with Wi-Fi is a compact 390x300x145mm device suitable even for small workspaces. It has a large 6.4 cm colour display and a touch panel for easy controls and navigation. The Epson XP-412 Expression Home printer delivers crisp and clear text and consistently brilliant images, thanks to its advanced ink and print technology. The Epson Expression Home XP-412 features separate ink slots for each ink colour, allowing users to save more on ink supply. It has a 100-sheet paper tray and a manual feed for other types of print media.
In addition to its advanced print technology, the Epson XP-412 colour multifunction inkjet printer boasts versatile connectivity, allowing wireless printing using virtually any Wi-Fi device. The Expression Home XP412 all-in-one is compatible with a wide range of operating systems and it has a colour touch screen LCD which makes navigation and photo previewing easier, especially when printing from memory card devices. Changing the Epson XP-412 ink cartridges is less wasteful because the individual cartridges only need replacing when each colour is fully depleted.
One major disadvantage of the Epson XP412 multifunction printer is its lack of fax support. The device is also incapable of automatic duplex printing, although it does allow manual duplexing. The Expression Home XP-412 inkjet printer doesn't come with an ADF unit, which makes scanning multi-page documents more time-consuming.
