Fujitsu DL3750+ Printer Review
Expert review of the Fujitsu DL3750+ printer
Designed for medium-sized offices, the Fujitsu DL3750+ is a dot-matrix printer installed with barcode printing. It can offer a buffer as high as 128 KB and has 80 columns for printing. The Fujitsu DL3750+ medium duty dot-matrix printer has a maximum print resolution of 360 x 360 dpi and it can handle continuous forms plus five multi-part forms, including the original. Networking connectivity is not offered.
Design
With the Fujitsu DL3750+ barcode printer, users will find three connectivity options: USB, serial, and parallel. This device comes with a handy control panel that has labelled function buttons plus a covered paper platen. It uses ribbon cartridges that can last for 5 million characters and a printhead with a life of 400 million strokes. Print speed can go as fast as 448 cps on high-speed draft. The Fujitsu DL3750+ printer measures 120 x 415 x 330 mm and weighs 7.3 kg.
Advantages
This reliable dot-matrix printer delivers decent-quality output. Aside from solid texts, it can also handle graphics and barcodes. The Fujitsu DL3750+ impact printer is very easy to use. It is also light and compact. Users will have no trouble operating and setting up this device. It has good paper-handling features including paper parking, push tractors, friction-feed platen, and easy tear-off and page load buttons. Although the genuine Fujitsu DL3750+ ink ribbons are low in cost, there are even cheaper compatible Fujitsu DL3700+ ribbons on sale for this machine.
Disadvantages
There are new dot-matrix printers that have already surpassed the print speed of the DL3750+. Multiple users would be able to access this device if it offered networking connectivity. The LAN card is only optional which means extra time and money must be spent on installing this feature.
