The HP DesignJet-T7200 is a production printer that will meet all monochrome and colour printing needs. It is ideal for companies that need to print a high volume of CAD drawings, posters, maps and graphic presentations. The quality of printing is of a high professional standard with crisp, clear lines and vibrant images free of smudges. A preview option allows for the quality to be checked prior to printing, meaning less time and materials are wasted. This is a large printer, so it may be difficult to place on smaller premises. Companies that use a variety of devices, including smart devices in their work, should also be aware that there is no wireless connection.
The dimensions of the HP DesignJet-T7200 are 1974 x 700 x 1374 mm. The printer holds six ink cartridges in the colours magenta, cyan, yellow, matte black, grey and dark grey. There are two roll feeds with the option of upgrading to three. Maximum printing speed is 123.3m² per hour, and print resolution is 2400 x 1200 dpi. Connection is via an Ethernet or the JetDirect accessory slot. The printer is energy star rated, and both cartridges and printheads are recyclable.
The HP DesignJet-T7200 inks produce crisp lines and accurate colours. This model can print on a wide variety of media, ranging from bond paper to glossy photo paper, providing maximum flexibility. Innovative HP technology allows for faster print times and greater accuracy. The three roll heavy media holder and high capacity ink cartridges increase workplace efficiency by providing 600m of uninterrupted printing. HP Crystal preview technology means quality can be checked before printing, reducing the need for reprints.
The bulky size of the HP DesignJet-T7200 may make it awkward to place, particularly in smaller business premises. It will not connect wirelessly, which may be a disadvantage for companies using smart devices.
