The 60-in production HP DesignJet Z6610 printer is a fast graphics production printing solution that produces outstanding colour and black-and-white prints using six HP inks, which also produce water-resistant documents. All output is high impact and clearly readable, from posters to line drawings, using the optimized print heads. Users can create impressive black-and-white prints using the three shade of black HP ink to deliver rich and smooth density, and HP Vivid Photo Inks produce the kind of durability that can last up to 200 years. This machine can produce prints as quickly as 140 m²/hr (1,500 ft²/hr) in fast mode and 20 m²/hr (212 ft²/hr) in high quality mode, and the high file processing power means turnaround times are reduced, and large data loads are handled with ease. Higher speed can be produced with HP Double Swath Technology and the HP Optical Media Advance Sensor.
Design
This HP DesignJet printer model has a memory of 64GB and an internal storage memory of 500GB. The print time for colour images ISO NF on best metric A1 glossy paper is 3.2min/page. For normal metric A1 glossy paper, it is 2.1min/page. The print time for colour image IS0 NF (draft, A1 coated paper) is 18sec/page, and for normal metric A1 coated paper, it is 1.5min/page.
Advantages
The DesignJet Z6610 inkjet production printer allows users to print up to 30% more efficiently with its 6-ink printing system, and it’s easy to choose how to print, either through preferred design applications or third-party RIPs. Image quality is ensured by automatic drop detection and intelligent masking, which also helps reduce waste and cleaning.
Disadvantages
The Z6610 HP DesignJet machine model is a security-enabled printer but is only designed to be used with cartridges using an HP original chip, thus cartridges using a non-HP chip may not work.
