The 60-in production HP DesignJet Z6810 printer produces outstanding photo image quality with the ability to turn around orders speedily with print speeds up to 140 m2/hr (1500 feet2/hr). The embedded spectrophotometer will enable users to avoid rework by providing consistent and accurate colour across all prints with the precise colours of the HP Professional PANTONE colour emulation. The printer can also reach production peaks with print speeds of up to 1,500 square ft/hr using plain paper and manage more jobs with the 500GB hard disk capacity. HP’s fastest high quality colour production printing solution, the DesignJet Z6810, is an 8-ink wide format printer and is also available in 48-inch width.
Design
This HP DesignJet printer model has a best colour print quality of up to 2,400 x 1,200 optimised dpi, with a guaranteed minimum line width of 0.067mm (ISO/IEC 13660:2001(E)) and line accuracy of ±0.1%. Finished output handling comprises a roll feed, automatic horizontal cutter and take-up reel. Media types that can be used include bond and coated paper, technical paper, film and fabric. The recommended media weights are between 80 to 500 g/m2, and the media thickness can be up to 22mil.
Advantages
The DesignJet Z6810 uses new HP Vivid photo Inks to facilitate the production of top photo quality and fade-resistant prints. It allows companies to integrate with market-leading RIPs though HP’s RIP certification programme and uses HP SmartStream job preparation and processing software. Creating content and submitting jobs is simple when using its HP Application Centre, and one-click printing is easy via HP Click printing software. Its long media rolls, 775ml HP ink cartridges and built-in take-up reel allow for uninterrupted work.
Disadvantages
The HP DesignJet Z68810 60-in production printer is specifically designed for graphics and photographs and therefore is not suitable for workplaces requiring printers with a more general usage.
