The 44-in HP DesignJet Z9+dr PostScript is an inkjet printer that has been created for use in offices where design has a large role to play. Users can create advertising banners and posters quickly and to a very high standard, thanks to a print resolution of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi.
Design
This thermal inkjet printer can produce very high-quality printing, thanks to the set of nine print cartridges that are included. This allows for good quality photo printing as well as good quality matte images. Gloss enhancer is also an option with the Z9+dr HP DesignJet printer. There are two roll feeds on this printer, as well as a smart roll-switching function. The horizontal cutter is automatic, and there is also a vertical trimmer included that can handle most of the media used, including canvas. Software options that are included with the printer including HP MPS and HP Click.
Advantages
With an average print speed of around 71 square metres per hour, users of the 44-in PostScript HP DesignJet Z9+dr can complete large amounts of printing in a very short time. The internal storage is up to 500GB, allowing the printer to store a large amount of information, which is essential for design projects. Roll sheets of up to 1118mm wide fit on this printer. Connection to this printer is available through USB and several Ethernet options. Everything needed to get started is included with the printer, including the stand and the cartridges.
Disadvantages
This large HP DesignJet printer model weighs almost 100kg, but moving it is not an issue, thanks to the casters on the stand that is included with the printer. It does take up quite a bit of space, so it may not be suitable for a small office.
