When a printer appears on the market which offers something a little different to what has come before it, understandably, people are going to be rather excitable and we are no different. In fact, we couldn't wait to test out the HP Designjet 1055cm Plus because, having sampled the goods which other Designjet printers from Hewlett-Packard can produce, we had some great expectations. Here are our findings.
Design
In terms of look, the HP Designjet 1055cm Plus is hardly going to win any awards for innovation, but then, when a printer is as large and uncompromising as the HP Designjet 1055cm Plus is, then the finer details don't really matter all that much. Thankfully, what the Designjet 1055cm Plus lacks in design, it more than makes up for in performance.
Advantages
Of course, as with any Designjet printer, the HP Designjet 1055cm Plus has been built with high quality results in mind and these results certainly match up to those that previous Designjet printers can create. In many ways, the HP Designjet 1055cm Plus is the next logical step in this series and regardless of size, each image we created with the HP Designjet 1055cm Plus was clear and crisp. Disadvantages
