The HP DesignJet Z660 Production Printer provides consistently high-quality output whether you are producing posters, fine art photos and much more. It is ideal for durable, sharp prints with a speedy production solution aimed at handling production peaks and improving general workflow. It’s 500 GB hard disc capacity facilitates more jobs, as do the 775-ml ink cartridges and an in-built take up reel. The HP Multi-Dimensional Smart Drop Placement Technology helps achieve smoother tones and you can print up to 30% more efficiently using the 6-ink printing system with optimised configuration. The colour reliability is also enhanced with HP Professional PANTONE colour emulation and embedded Adobe PostScript/PDF.

This model is 2430 x 690 x 1370 mm, and weighs 190kg. The roll size is 280 to 1524mm. The printer has a maximum print resolution of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi optimised.
Advantages

You can also send jobs through to printing from preferred design applications or third-party RIPs, as well as reducing cleaning and waste while ensuring impressive image quality by using automatic drop detection and intelligent masking.
Disadvantages
It’s difficult to find any disadvantages with this model, but it is aimed squarely at the graphics market which require complex print formats, so it may not be the best investment for organisations with less specific and high-end printing needs.
