The colour HP DeskJet 2622 is an all-in-one printer, copier and scanner which is suitable for small offices and homes. It can handle a range of media types from A4, to B5, A6 and envelopes. When letters, documents, reports and charts are required, this unit is ideal. The integrated 512MB memory is joined by a 256MB flash memory, so the processing speeds are reliably swift. For mobile printing that does not require access to a computer, it is possible to use Apple AirPrint. On photographic paper, the dpi is especially high, which makes this printer an excellent choice for people who tend to print lots of snaps.
Design
Weighing 7.55 lb and measuring 16.73 x 21.56 x 9.79 inches, the HP DeskJet 2622 is a lighter unit that one person can reposition easily. In terms of connectivity, users can select the high-speed USB 2.0 port for transferring data or use the built-in Wi-Fi. The copier on this machine can automatically enlarge documents or images as required, and the copy resolution is up to 600 x 300 dpi. Duplex printing is available, although it is enabled manually, which can be more time-consuming.
Advantages
When it is in draft mode, the HP DeskJet 2622 can produce around 20 pages per minute in monochrome and 16 pages per minute in colour. In ISO mode, the speeds are slower at 7.5 pages per minute in monochrome and 5.5 pages per minute in colour. The optimal print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi occurs when using a PC and photo paper.
Disadvantages
Unfortunately, the HP DeskJet 2622 is not ideal for people who wish to print a lot of copies. The input tray can only manage 60 sheets and the output tray can manage 25 sheets, so both may need to be changed regularly.
