An affordable single-function inkjet, the HP Deskjet 710C is a basic colour printer that offers good quality printouts at 600x600 dpi. Although the HP Deskjet 710C is an old model, it's still more than ample for home and personal use. The HP 710C inkjet printer uses HP's drop-on-demand technology and the PhotoREt II layering system, which ensures better quality and more vibrant prints. However, the machine is not as competitive when it comes to speed, averaging only 6 ppm in black and white and 3ppm in colour.
Design
An easy fit to any desktop, the HP Deskjet 710C measures only 17.5x7.3x25 inches and is fairly lightweight at 12 lbs. The HP Deskjet 710C inkjet printer connects via parallel port, and uses one black and one tri-colour cartridge. Its simple design makes it user-friendly, with simple start/stop buttons and indicator lights for signalling jams, low ink levels, and queuing problems.
Advantages
