The HP Deskjet 932c uses Cartridge Save 45 ink cartridges. Cartridge Save 45 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 930 pages.
As a small inkjet colour printer for use in the home and office, the HP Deskjet-932c can be relied on to perform its role of printing onto a range of media accurately and reliably. Easy to get up and running straight from the box, it has a respectable print speed and resolution, and it can be easily connected to other devices such as a PC through its port options. It has relatively small dimensions and is easy to fit onto the desired work surface if there’s a power outlet close by, and this smart and compact unit has a number of other points also in its favour.
The HP Deskjet-932c has dimensions of 17.3 x 15.7 x 7.7 in and weighs 12.57 lb. Plug it in, load the drivers from the CD-ROM provided and the unit is ready to use. Resolution for black-and-white is 600 dpi and for colour 2400x1200 dpi, and the maximum print speeds for monochrome and colour are 9 ppm and 7.5 ppm respectively. Maximum media size is 8.5x14 inches, and media types supported include transparencies, plain paper, glossy paper, greeting cards and iron-on transfers. The unit can also be set to print onto envelopes of various grades such as Letter A, Legal, Executive and A4. The Deskjet-932c has both USB and parallel ports for wired connectivity to other kit.
The printer is a handy device to have in a small office, it is of modest dimensions but capable of handling up to 100 sheets at a time with accuracy. Its print resolutions for both colour and black and white are impressive, and compatible cartridges are an option for cutting its running costs.
The Deskjet-932c does not include copy or scan functions, and it has no LCD panel for fine-tuning printed output. The lack of Wi-Fi connectivity may also be a disadvantage for some users.
