The HP Deskjet 990CXI can even sense the type of paper used automatically and adjust the printing mode accordingly. It uses the revolutionary PhotoRet III technology and is compatible with major operating systems. However, because it does not use individual ink tanks, running costs and ink wastage can get expensive in the long run.
Design
The HP Deskjet 990CXI connects to a computer via USB or parallel connection and features a front-yield paper tray with an automatic duplexer, which helps users save time and paper waste. The machine measures 17.34x7.72x14.6 inches and weighs about 15 pounds. It runs on an 8 MB RAM and is designed to print out up to 5000 prints a month. The HP Deskjet 990CXI also uses one black and one tri colour cartridge.
