The HP Deskjet D1560 is a budget-friendly choice for individuals seeking a user-friendly personal printer. However, this low-end device shares the same problems as other HP printers in the same line –sluggish print speed, system hang-ups, and paper jams.
Design
Integrated with HP's Thermal Inkjet technology, this entry level colour printer is light at 4.4 lbs and compact at only 5.6 inches tall, 16.6 inches wide, and 10.2 inches in diameter. As a basic device, it supports 4-pin USB Type B interface and can handle 80 sheets at a time. The monthly due cycle is 750 pages before it needs to be reset. Windows Vista users will have no problems using the HP Deskjet D1560.
Advantages
The HP Deskjet D1560 runs on less energy (3 watts when sleeping and 16 watts when running) and can handle various types of media including iron-on transfers, labels, and transparencies. Borderless printing is supported by the D1560, making it great for printing on 4x6 photo paper.
