Design
HP's Deskjet F2100 series went back to the box-type aesthetic to accommodate the flat bed scanner on top of the unit. Compact and easily movable, the F2179 features a glass scanner protected by a fold-up lid, to the left of which is the control panel with an easy to understand diagram of functions. At the back is the power connection, beside which is the USB port. The HP Deskjet F2179 uses 2 cartridges - one black and the other tri-colour.
