The HP Deskjet F2188 is a multipurpose inkjet printer included in HP's F2100 series. It shares many features with other models in the group, combining three different machines into one compact unit. The HP Deskjet F2188 all-in-one prints, scans and copies. It is ideal for small offices in need of a basic printer that can do other important office functions. However, the all-in-one HP F2188 colour printer lacks fax capabilities and is not networkable, putting it two steps behind other office multifunctions.
Design
The HP Deskjet F2188 inkjet printer follows the same design scheme as other units in the series. It is relatively lightweight, combining three machines within one convenient unit. The F2188 uses separate ink cartridges, including an optional photo ink cartridge for richer colour production when printing images. The HP Deskjet F2188 printer has a flatbed scanner, which doubles as a copier, although it does not feature an automatic document feeder.
Advantages
