The HP Deskjet F2200 all-in-one series is a line of 12 multifunction inkjet models with printing, scanning, and copying capabilities. These Energy Star certified solutions leave low impact on the environment and drive down the costs of printing. The HP Deskjet F2200 printer series boasts impressive speeds of up to 17ppm (black and white), and 13 ppm (colour) for the lower models; higher models are even faster at 20ppm (black and white) and 14ppm (colour). The only downside is that the series only supports wired connectivity via USB.
Design
All models from the HP Deskjet F2200 look similar and are designed to be compact enough for small work spaces. They feature extendable paper trays and neatly lined controls on the top left side. The flat bed scanners and copiers of the HP Deskjet F2200 series are protected by hinged covers that are flexible enough to accommodate even medium-sized books.
Advantages
The HP Deskjet F2200 series is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems, which are commonly used in homes and offices. These machines can reduce and enlarge copies from as little 25% to as large as 400% (depending on model). The scanners come with image editors and integrated OCR software for converting scanned text to an electronic and editable format. Units can also scan up to 1200x2400dpi.
Disadvantages
Satisfied users praise the printers in the HP Deskjet F2200 line for their affordability, but many also wish that HP threw in wireless printing capabilities. Ink prices are fairly manageable, keeping running costs low.
