Expert review of the HP Deskjet F2400 printer
The low cost and easy to maintain HP Deskjet F2400 is suitable for average home and small office use. It delivers laser-quality prints and it has a handy ink indicator light to alert you when ink is running low. It can print up to 3 times more black and white prints and 2.5 times more coloured prints when used with the optional high-capacity cartridges.
Design
The HP Deskjet F2400 makes use of HP Thermal Inkjet technology. It can print, copy, and scan, and best of all, it supports multi-tasking. This compact printer has an 80-sheet input tray and an envelope input capacity of up to 10.
Advantages
Unlike other printers with LCD displays, the HP Deskjet F2400 has only 4 control buttons. It is user-friendly, easy to set up and install, and boasts excellent resolutions of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi for 'best' mode coloured prints.
Disadvantages
All-in-one printers from competitors are usually capable of faxing, but the HP Deskjet F2400 is not. It is available only in select countries and does not come with a USB cable. The F2400 is not Wi-Fi ready and can only print in maximum efficiency when an advanced processor is used. Compared to other HP printers, the HP Deskjet F2400 is slow.
