It is an average, user friendly everyday tool that prints efficiently and produces pretty accurate scans and clear copies. The DeskJet F4240, however, is not the most durable choice, especially with its flimsy paper tray. Users report that it takes only a little over a year before it starts bugging down.
Design
A typical box-type multifunction, the DeskJet F4240 looks very similar to the other Deskjets in the F4000 series, with the same pull down paper tray, flat bed scanner, and easy to use control panel. It connects to the computer via USB.
