What ink does the HP Envy 5010 All-in-One use?
The HP Envy 5010 All-in-One uses HP 304XL ink cartridges. HP 304XL ink comes in black and in tri-colour; the black cartridge prints 300 pages and the tri-colour cartridge prints 300 pages.

The HP Envy 5010 is a wireless printer that can also be used to copy and scan to emails and PDFs. Developed for teams of up to three people, this is the perfect choice for homes and small offices that need to create documentation and good quality images. It comes complete with the HP Smart app, which can be used to create prints from the cloud or social media. With dual-band Wi-Fi as standard, the set up can take as little as one minute, and printing can begin immediately from a PC, tablet or smartphone.
Design
Measuring 17 x 14 x 5 inches, the HP Envy 5010 weighs just 11 lb and can be repositioned by just one person when necessary. The duplexing function is automatic, so it is simple to produce two-sided copies in minimal time. Using the 2.2-inch monochrome LCD display screen, users can create a series of shortcut commands to copy, scan or print while at the printer. This unit is compatible with a range of media, from envelopes to A4, A5 and A6 paper, as well as photo paper.

The HP Envy 5010 is supported by a 256 MB DDR3L memory and has an impressive resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi when printing in colour from a computer on photo paper. The time to print the first page in monochrome is 16 seconds and 19 seconds in colour. When printing in draft mode, the speeds can reach 20 pages per minute in monochrome or 17 pages per minute in colour. In ISO mode, the speeds can reach 9 pages per minute in monochrome or 6 pages per minute in colour.
Disadvantages
For homes where larger amounts of printing are a common occurrence, it is worth remembering that the HP Envy 5010 has a monthly duty cycle of just 400 pages.
