The HP Envy 5541 e-All-in-One uses HP 62 ink cartridges. HP 62 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 200 pages.
The HP Envy 5541 is a feature rich, all-in-one printer that it easy to use, quiet in operation and produces vibrant, colourful images on a variety of paper format types. It’s perfect for any environment requiring low monthly print volumes and intuitive print, copy and scan capabilities. The HP 5541 uses black and tri-colour ink cartridges and is capable of printing up to 12 pages per minute in black and white ISO and eight pages per minute in colour ISO.
At just 15.6 x 45.4 x 50.3cm, the HP Envy 5541 has a compact and low profile and features an eye catching, two-tone silver and black finish. The centre point of the printer is a 5.6cm LCD touchscreen display, which offers access to a wealth of options and features. There is ample support for connections, with users able to connect via wireless with smartphones and other mobile devices.
The thermal inkjet using CMYK inks delivers exceptional quality and there is support for 10 x 15 borderless printing and an ink subscription, which will cut down on long-term running costs. The maximum print quality of 4800 x 1200 dpi provides crisp prints, and users will find it easy to install, set up and operate the Envy. Smartphone support is also welcome in a home device and it is simple to connect to the wireless features.
The HP Envy 4451 is not the quickest inkjet available and it is quite costly to run for mono printing. It is unlikely to suit office conditions either, with the monthly duty cycle of 1,000 A4 pages and monthly volume of up to 400 pages. The input and output trays are both limited in this regard. There is no automatic document feeder, which can make copying and scanning more of a hassle, and there is no means of connecting a USB drive or a camera card.
