The HP Officejet 4355 is aimed at small offices looking for an all-in-one device that can handle printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs. It is an outstanding fax machine, but it is sub-par in terms of scan and print quality, prompting some users to look for a better multifunction printers.
Design
The HP Officejet 4355 looks like a standalone fax machine with a phone handset, but it is also a printer, copier, and scanner in one compact device. It is relatively small at 16.4 inches wide and 13 inches tall, and is lightweight and easily portable at 5.5 kilograms. The fax machine runs on a 33.6 Kbps modem and the printer uses drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology with a resolution of 1200x1200 dpi in monochrome (and optimised at 4800x4800 dpi with the 6-ink system). The LCD screen is overpowered by the large control panel, and looks small for the overall size of the HP Officejet 4355.
