The HP Officejet 5110v uses Cartridge Save 15 ink cartridges. Cartridge Save 15 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 500 pages.
The HP Officejet 5110v is a digital, all-in-one inkjet colour printer that combines the functions of a scanner, copier, fax and printer into one compact unit, perfect for the small office, workgroup or home. It has excellent print resolution and speed for all three functions and is a real workhorse, able to rip through its allotted jobs with ease and with minimal human involvement once the initial settings have been punched in. It handles a range of media types and has multiple trays, and it is compatible with both PC and Mac systems. It can be easily connected to a PC via USB port, and the initial setup is quick and easy.
With dimensions of 17.8 x 14.6 x 9.2 in and weighing 15.43 lb, the HP Officejet 5110v is a compact machine that packs a lot of power and versatility into its attractively designed body, which is reminiscent of the classic dedicated fax machines. There’s a large control panel on the front top surface of the unit, which is covered with buttons and a small visual display screen, and from here all the print, copy and scan functions can be set up and controlled. Maximum print resolution is 600x600 dpi for mono and 1200x1200 dpi for colour, with speeds of 12 and 10 ppm respectively. Optical scan resolution is 600x1200 dpi, and the fax machine has a transmission speed of 33.6 Kbps.
With its scan and fax functionality, and high quality for printing and copying, the HP Officejet 5110v is a versatile unit that eliminates the need for any other machines for scanning, printing, copying or faxing. It has a pleasing design and the build quality is very good too.
The HP Officejet 5110v feels overloaded with buttons on the control panel which will take some time to master, and the display box is on the small side and difficult to read in adverse lighting conditions.
