The well-connected HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One printer is ideal for SOHO users. It can print everything from high quality photos to crisp text documents. Aside from printing, the HP Officejet 5740 multifunction printer can also copy, scan, and fax, and even offer web access for web printing and scan-to-email. For lower running costs, high yield HP 62XL ink cartridges are available for the HP Officejet 5740 printer. this model has a monthly duty cycle of 1,000 pages and easy wireless setup is possible from tablets, smartphones and PCs.

Design

The modern HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One colour inkjet printer comes in black, measures 17.87 x 16.14 x 7.60 inches and weighs 16.91lbs. This model features a large touchscreen display and touch panel on the front plus a small function button for power and the indicator light for Wi-Fi. It has a 25-sheet ADF on top of its flatbed scanner. The HP Officejet 5740 wireless e-All-in-One printer also has a 125-sheet paper tray and 15-sheet photo tray. Print speed can go as fast as 22ppm for mono with the first page out in 18 seconds and 21ppm for colour with the first page out in 22 seconds.

Ideal for photo printing, the Officejet 5740 inkjet all-in-one printer has a dedicated tray for photos, borderless printing support and a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200dpi. To reduce paper waste, the Hewlett Packard Officejet 5740 e-All-In-One is integrated with a duplexer. Workgroups can easily share the HP 5740 Officejet as it has Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. This model can also support mobile printing and has scan-to and print-from features via USB host. The high capacity HP Officejet 5740 inkjet cartridges deliver a more affordable cost-per-print.

Disadvantages

The print and copy speed of the HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One colour printer is quite slow. This model also has limited paper handling capacity.
