Delivering high-quality prints minus the large price tag, the HP PSC 1210xi is ideal for home use. This printer is also capable of superior scanning and copying. It has an input capacity of 100 sheets and has a monthly duty cycle of 1000 impressions. However, it lacks features like a fax machine and LCD display, which most competing models already have.

Design

The HP PSC 1210xi measures 17 x 42.6 x 25.9 cm and weighs 4.9 kg. It has a flatbed scanner on top and a printer at the bottom. The control panel is intuitive, featuring organised buttons and indicator lights. For connectivity, there is a USB cable port at the back.

Advantages

Considering how affordable it is to purchase and to run, the HP PSC 1210xi is a practical solution that delivers excellent results from vibrant photos to good scanning resolutions. It has ink cartridge indicators on the control panel to tell if there is a problem with the cartridge placement and it also has a cancel button to conveniently stop current jobs. It works for both Mac and Windows operating systems and uses very little electricity.

Disadvantages

The HP PSC 1210xi is not ideal for work groups, as it does not have Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet. The printing speed is rather slow especially when printing in 'best' mode. Also, the HP PSC 1210xi may not run on newer operating systems.
