The all-in-one HP PSC 1312 is an economical choice for printing, copying, and scanning in homes and small businesses. It has a monthly duty cycle of 1000 impressions and supports USB, PictBridge connectivity, and PC-free printing. However, it lacks an LCD display and memory card readers, which most newer models already have.

Design

This compact printer is perfect for smaller desktops. Reliable and sturdy, the HP PSC 1312 has a flatbed scanner on top and a printer at the bottom. It weighs 10 pounds. The PictBridge port is easy to spot, and the control panel (along with the indicator lights) is intuitive and very easy to use.

Advantages

Printing without a computer is possible with the HP PSC 1312, via the PictBridge port. The fit-to-page button also allows users to copy without turning on a PC. The HP PSC 1312 is affordable but doesn't compromise the quality of its prints. It is user-friendly, easy to install and operate, and keeps running costs low.

Disadvantages

When compared to newer all-in-one printers, the HP PSC 1312 will seem inadequate because of its slow printing speed and lack of features. The HP PSC 1312 lacks an LCD display and memory card readers, for example. It only uses USB cable connectivity and is not network ready.
