The HP PSC 2110 uses HP 56 ink cartridges. HP 56 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 520 pages.
Designed to be user-friendly for the small office and the busy working individual, the HP PSC 2110 is integrated with a colour copier, scanner, fax machine, and printer. It can multitask and help users get their work done faster, thanks to its intuitive control panel and easy-to-use software. However, this model is not the sturdiest.
A part of the PSC 2011 All-in-One series printers, the HP PSC 2110 is a unique model integrated with a fax machine — a feature that is absent in other models from the series. It shares the same dimensions as its siblings and still uses inkjet colour printing technology with the dual ink cartridge system. All controls are conveniently located on the top right corner of the HP PSC 2110, right beside the flatbed scanner. HP gave the printer the typical flimsily designed paper tray, though.
The HP PSC 2110 is praised for its colour copier, which is speedy at 14ppm in monochrome and 10ppm in colour. The scanner can produce vivid images when optimised at 19200x19200dpi. Users also enjoy the fact that the printer is easy to install and is user-friendly. The intuitive buttons on the control panel allows them to reprint pictures and posters with one touch.
The paper tray is prone to paper jams and is unable to properly feed paper. The printer is also one of the most sluggish around, especially when printing in 'normal' and 'best' mode. Many users complain about the HP PSC 2110 wasting too much ink, so they have to buy new cartridges more often. The HP PSC 2110 is also outdated and incompatible with most modern operating systems.
